Reese is a product of the Texas hill country. He grew up in Blanco, Texas where he learned to hunt and fish and love both. Reese graduated from Mary-Hardin Baylor with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and biblical studies in 2003. He later went on to add master’s degrees in community counseling and theology from the University of Texas San Antonio and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, respectively, culminating in 2015. Reese has been working in vocational ministry for the last twenty-five years with stops at Community Bible Church, Bulverde Methodist Church and currently at Hope Arise Methodist Church as Senior Pastor. 

Reese and Natalie Henry have been married for 18 years, and they have three children together, Reese (15), Rowan (13) and Vivian (10). Life is full of youth sports, outdoor adventures and lots and lots of driving children where they need to go! Reese loves doing things with his family above anything else, especially fishing at the Texas Gulf coast or hiking Pedernales State Park.

Reese stays engaged in his community by serving on volunteer committees with Comal ISD, volunteering with Heroes on the Water, coaching LOTS of youth sports, and providing motivational faith based speaking engagements with local sports teams when invited.
